National Champions Once Again: Our Acacia Honey Wins the Golden Spoon

This year, we have a very special reason to celebrate. At the National Honey Evaluation held in Osijek, among 162 samples from all over Croatia, our acacia honey won the Golden Spoon and the Champion title — both in the acacia category and in the overall ranking. With this result, we repeated the success we achieved seven years ago, and the feeling of pride and gratitude is just as strong today as it was back then.

This recognition carries even greater meaning for us as it comes after last year’s European success. Our acacia honey from the previous season earned the title of European Champion at an international evaluation in Slovenia, confirming that the quality of our work is recognized beyond the borders of Croatia. When such awards are repeated, we know it is not just a good season, but the result of consistent work, patience, and a great deal of passion.

Our honey is produced in a natural environment of meadows and forests, where bees enjoy peace, clean nature, and rich forage. Beekeeping has never been just a business for us. It is a way of life, a relationship with bees and nature, and a responsibility toward everyone who places our honey on their table. Every jar carries part of that journey — knowledge built over years, experience passed down, and a constant commitment to always put quality before quantity.

National honey evaluations play an important role for consumers, helping them recognize truly high-quality honey and avoid increasingly common adulterated products on the market. Unfortunately, uncontrolled imports of cheap, low-quality honey create serious challenges for domestic beekeepers and push down the price of genuine local honey. Despite this, thanks to proven quality and the trust of our customers, we continue to find our place and remain true to what we believe in.

We had a solid season and can be satisfied with both yields and quality, but honestly — medals are not the most important thing to us. They make us happy and motivate us, yet the greatest reward is the people who return to us. Those who greet us, ask how the bees are doing, and choose our honey with confidence, knowing exactly what they are getting.

That is why we see this success as a shared one. It is ours, but it is also yours. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, who chooses local products, and who recognizes the effort behind every single jar. Because of you, we continue forward with the same passion, a smile, and a deep love for bees and nature.
